The Six True Words Mantra is probably the most famous prayer of all the Buddhist cultures. It can be seen written everywhere, even on rocks in the wild. The prayer is used to bless and protect.
Its easy with current culture to read "true" as meaning that all else is false. This feels more limited to our experience. We've come to understand that "true", in this instance, as meaning pure or unadulterated or words in pure form, primordial, before our minds add layers of meaning - when language was pure sound.
There are many ways to understand the meaning of this mantra, I have chosen to interprete this as the six vibrations or aspects of truth. It is the intention that wearing or using your Six True Words Bracelet will draw truth in whichever area you are seeking it to you.
The Six True Words are OM, MA, NI, PED, ME, HUNG. The colors are white, red, yellow, green, blue and black. Each bracelet is strung in a meditative and joyful state of mind. If a bead doesn't easily go onto the strand, it is intentionally lay it aside and another is chosen.
We also create with intention that each piece is drawn to the specific person who is in alignment with the intention of each piece.
